Each day there are 3 different types of appts available.
1. Book in advance – can be booked up to 6 weeks in advance. New clinics are added weekly
2. Book on the day (non-urgent) – a limited number are released at 8am each day. Please telephone 01179731201 to book. Please note that you may be booked with a pharmacist if it is considered appropriate.
3. Clinically urgent on the day – appt with the Duty Doctor.
We use clinical triage system, developed by our GPs, in order to direct you to the most appropriate clinician. When you call you will be asked a number of questions and we will try our best to direct you to the most appropriate clinician. If you are calling regarding one of the following conditions, sinusitis, sore throat, ear ache, infected insect bite, impetigo, shingles or urinary tract infection, you are likely to be redirected to a local pharmacist for a consultation who can provide you with any necessary medication. This will enable doctors to see patients who cannot be seen by another clinician
If you have a clinically urgent need for an appt the same day and all routine appts have been taken, you will be added to the emergency Duty Doctor list for an initial telephone consultation; and, if deemed necessary, you will be invited in for a face to face appt.
If you have a non-urgent condition, as an alternative, you may wish to complete an online consultation form via our website (https://florey.accurx.com/p/L81091). This allows patients to submit a short medical or admin query and will be read by a member of the team within 3 working days.
